What we collect

The site has no user accounts and sets no cookies. We collect personal data only when you give it to us: your email address, if you ask to receive the newsletter, and whatever you include when you write to us, call us or message us on WhatsApp.

Why we use it

We use your email address to send you the newsletter, and your messages to reply to you and, if you ask, to deal with your membership. The legal basis is your consent for the newsletter and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Server logs and fonts

When you visit the site, the server records technical data such as your IP address, the page requested and the type of browser, to keep the site secure and working. The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page opens.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your request, and server logs for no longer than security requires.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or to the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP) in Romania.
